Dimage Scan Dual 2 Driver
The Dual II gives very decent scans. The software can output 8 or 16 bit data (12 bit data in 16 bit words as usual) or 16 bit linear (uncorrected) data. With focusing and 16 bit, 2820 dpi and full frame, my 400 MHz computer can stretch one image to nearly 5 minutes. There is much less clipping and sharpening. this contact form

This scanner came with a low-quality USB cable, and is also sensitive to USB timing on faster computers. I also lifted the center of the curve slightly higher to increase brightness (gamma).
